RoadRiders get training - from Brad Innes


A big thanks to Roadrider Steve Brown and friend Hunter Austin for bringing champion racer, author, and magazine editor, Lee Parks to Springfield last Saturday.  Gary Smith, Tom Carlson, Brad Innes, and Duane Highly completed the Level 1 Advanced Training course.  One of Lee Parks' assistant trainers is BMWOA Board Member David Grant.  Hopefully Lee Parks will come back to this area soon!

Springfield BMW Road Riders are Preparing for the 2010 Missouri State BMW Rally - June 25-27, 2010


37th Annual Missouri State BMW Rally a Success!

Thank you to all who attended the 37th Anuual Missouri State BMW Rally this year in Crane, MO.
Even with the heat, we had a great turnout and the rally was a tremendous success!
The members of the Springfiel BMW RoadRiders Club cannot thank our guests and sponsors enough. It is our true pleasure and honor to host this prestgious event and we cannot wait until next year.
We would also like to thank those who have worked on this project, collecting prizes, organizing the event, the T-Shirt design and the food was the best it has ever been!.... the list goes on.

    

Springfield BMW RoadRiders Provide Scholarships  

The Springfield BMW RoadRiders sponsor many charities and local events. Among them is the MOA Foundation whose goal is to provide rider training and support for motorcycle safety and awareness programs. http://www.bmwmoafoundation.org

In addition, the Springfield BMW RoadRiders sponsors new riders who wish to take the Riders Course. http://www.msf-usa.org   This is done through scholarships being awarded towards the cost of the course which is offered locally. http://www.otc.edu/continuinged/MotorcycleSafety.php
