Mark is a self-described small town country lawyer who also serves as municipal judge for several small towns. He grew up riding bicycles and had the obligatory mini-bike that he spent more time repairing than riding. Watching all the BMW's descend on his home town of Crane each year for the Missouri State Rally finally drove him to convince his wife to let him take the MSF Basic Rider's Course. He then got a KLR650 which embarassed his teenage daughter because it looked like a dirt bike. His wife then encouraged him to sell it and get a BMW. Since the sale would make both his wife and daughter happy, it was sold and replaced with a 1996 R1100R. After a couple of years it was sold to make way for the purchase of a 1998 R1100RTP which has now been joined by a 03 F650 GS.

Barb started riding her own motorcycle in 1972. It was that same year she joined the local club and has held various offices. Barb just received her 35 year membership pin in the BMW MOA, of which she is very proud. Her membership number is 3702. Barb rode a 1977 R100S model all over the country early in her riding career, then took a break from riding when she had her son in 1978. Barb is now on a 2004 R1150RS, and back in the club which "continues to provide great camaraderie, riding buddies, safety tips and friendships from a diverse group of wonderful people", says Barb Decker. She has a degree in elementary education, has owned her own business, and is now on the management team at JC Penney.
